Thursday: Cal +24 at Oregon
Oregon is averaging around 60 points a game the last 3 and loves the attention for a Thursday night game. Oregon did allow 31 points to Arizona on the road last week. Cal is off to a 3-1 start, coming off an 8 point loss to the up and coming Huskies last week. Cal has a balanced passing attack and should have no problem scoring on Oregon's D, but keeping Oregon's offense out will be the problem. Cal is coming off a bye week, so had time to prepare for Oregon's up-tempo offense. 61% of the public currently siding with the Ducks. Only 2 of the last 8 games between these two teams was decided by more than 8 points. Cal is 20-6-1 its last 27 as a 10.5 or more underdog ATS, but 7-19 ATS its last 26 road games. Oregon is also coming off a bye week and is 24-11-1 last 36 as 10.5 favorite or more ATS, but 1-5 ATS last 6 Thursday games. Trends also favor a high scoring game, and likely the Over.
The Pick: Cal +24
Friday: Boise St. -20.5 at Fresno St.
Boise St. is rolling and likely goes undefeated due to the easy schedule. The wins have not been all that impressive, winning by 20 at home vs Tulsa and Nevada and are 2-2 ATS this season. Fresno St has been a feisty team this season, 2-3 with wins against North Dakota and Idaho, and lost to Cal by 15, Nebraska by 13, and Ole Miss by 10. Boise St.'s offense is more similar to Cal so Fresno is likely to give up 45+ in this one. Boise St. also gets back top WR weapon Geraldo Boldewijn this week. 65.35% of the public betting on the Broncos in this one, and Boise St. is 21-7 ATS last 28 road games and 15-6 ATS in Friday games. Fresno is 2-9 ATS last 11 Friday games and 3-8 ATS last 11 as home underdog.
The Pick: Boise St -20.5
Combo: Tease 7 Points to Cal +31 and Boise St -13.5
