Week 7 Thursday Night NFL Preview and Pick

Game: Seattle +7 at San Francisco, O/U 38, 8:20pm on 10-18

Analysis: A game where we have a team that was just dominated at home and turned the ball multiple times (49ers), and a team that had a dramatic comeback victory at home against the Pats (Seahawks), but that does not make this a lay-up.  The 49ers offense has been hot and cold and ranks 1st in the league in rushing, but looking at the 49ers schedule they really have not beaten a good team.  The defense is always solid, but exploited last week in the air and on the ground, but Seattle's offense is not at the level of the Giants.  Seattle is 2nd in the NFL against the run and has won 4 of its last 5 games, so a 7-point dog looks like an insult.  Wilson really grew up last week and made all the big throws while Lynch is still the engine of this offense.  I think SF has some major offensive issues and could start a streak of losses that brings on calls for a QB change.

Line Movement: Opened -7.5 (Offered -8 at 5 Dimes) and Down Slightly with 65% of Public Betting 49ers

Bet Trends: Seahawks are 4-1 ATS last 5 overall and 11-5 ATS last 16 vs. the NFC.  Seattle is just 18-37-2 ATS last 57 road games.  49ers are 15-4-3 ATS last 22 following an ATS loss and 21-8-3 ATS last 32 games at home.

The Pick: Seahawks +7.5 @ 2 Units

Predicted Score: Seahawks 20 / 49ers 17
